About Summit Air

14 years of telling people what their system actually needs.

Summit Air Heating & Cooling opened in 2012 with one van, one technician and a very simple promise: we would say out loud whether a repair or a replacement was the honest answer, and we would say it the same way whether or not it was the more profitable one.

That is still how it works. We are a small residential shop, not a call center with a fleet. The person who diagnoses your furnace is usually the person who comes back to fix it, and the owner is still in the field several days a week.

This valley makes the job interesting. Homes here run their air conditioning hard through a dry, bright summer and then ask a furnace to hold the line through a genuinely cold winter. Equipment that would coast along elsewhere gets worked hard here, which is exactly why the twice-a-year maintenance habit pays for itself.

Credentials

What is behind the name on the van

Anyone can print a magnet. These are the things worth asking any contractor about, including us.

NATE-certified technicians

Every technician who works on your system has passed the North American Technician Excellence exams for their specialty, and re-certifies on schedule.

Licensed and insured

We carry full liability and workers compensation cover. Ask for the certificate at any time and we will send it the same day.

Permits pulled, every install

New equipment is installed to code and inspected. You get the paperwork, and so does the next owner of the house.

Background-checked crew

The same small group of technicians works these streets. You will recognise the van and the person who gets out of it.

Where we work

A route we can actually cover in a day

We keep the service area tight on purpose. It is the only way to promise same-day visits and still turn up when we said we would. If your town is not on the list, call anyway. We may already be nearby.
