Pinecrest Valley, UT · Family run since 2012
Two problems, one number. Heat that quit, or air that never gets cold.
Summit Air Heating & Cooling keeps Pinecrest Valley homes comfortable in a valley that swings from ninety-five in August to single digits in January. Whichever end of that is going wrong today, we can usually be out to look at it before the day is over.

Heating
No heat this morning?
Furnaces, boilers and heat pumps diagnosed today. Most repairs are done on the first visit, with the old part in your hand.
Heating service
Cooling
Running, but not cooling?
Refrigerant, airflow, electrical, drainage. We test all four before we quote, so the fix actually holds through August.
Cooling serviceSame-day service, 7 days a week. Emergency calls answered by a person, not a machine.
Why homeowners call Summit Air
Same day, most days
Call before mid-afternoon and a technician is usually at the curb before dinner. Weekends included.
NATE-certified technicians
Everyone who opens your equipment has passed the industry exams for that system, and keeps them current.
The price before the work
You see the number in writing and approve it first. No hourly meter running while we figure it out.
Financing available
For replacements, we can spread the cost over monthly payments. We will walk you through the options.
What we do
Six things, done properly, on both sides of the thermostat.
Maintenance membership
The cheapest repair is the one that never happens.
Two scheduled visits a year, cooling in the spring and heating in the fall. We find the worn capacitor in April instead of the failed one in July, and you move to the front of the queue on the days everyone else is calling.
- Spring cooling tune-up and fall heating tune-up
- Priority scheduling ahead of non-members
- Standard filters supplied and fitted each visit
- A written condition report, photos included
- No call-out charge during business hours
- Cancel any time, nothing rolls over without you
On the day
What a visit includes
- 01Burner, ignitor and flame sensor cleaned
- 02Refrigerant charge verified against the nameplate
- 03Electrical connections tightened and amperage logged
- 04Condensate drain flushed and treated
- 05Filter changed and airflow measured
- 06Thermostat calibration and a safety check on every control
Anything we find that needs attention gets quoted before it gets fixed. Nothing is done on the spot without your say-so.
Before it quits completely
Signs your system needs help
Equipment rarely fails without warning. If any of these sound like your house, a service call now is cheaper and far less miserable than a replacement in the middle of the season.
Heating
- The furnace runs constantly and the house still feels cold
- A burning or metallic smell in the first week of the season
- Banging, rumbling or a boom on ignition
- Rooms upstairs and downstairs never match
- The pilot or burner flame looks yellow instead of blue
Cooling
- Air from the vents is cool but never cold
- The outdoor unit ices over on a warm day
- It shuts off after a few minutes, then starts again
- Water pooling near the indoor unit or a full drain pan
- The bill climbed but nothing about the summer changed

How we got here
Started in 2012 with one van and a rule about honest answers.
Summit Air Heating & Cooling began when our founder got tired of watching customers pushed into new equipment they did not need. The rule from day one: if a repair is the right call, we say so, even when the replacement would pay us more.
More than a decade later, most of our work still comes from a neighbor telling a neighbor. That only keeps working if every visit earns it.

What the neighbors say
Reviews shown here are placeholders. Replace them with your own Google reviews.
“Called at seven in the morning with no heat and a two year old in the house. A technician was here before ten, found a cracked ignitor, and had us warm by lunch. He showed me the old part and explained what killed it.”
“They quoted three replacement options and talked me out of the most expensive one because the house did not need it. Nobody does that. The install crew laid down floor protection before they carried anything in.”
“Our upstairs was ten degrees hotter than downstairs for four summers. They measured the ducts, added a return, and now the whole house sits within a degree. I wish we had called sooner.”
Too hot, too cold, or just tired of guessing?
Tell us what the house is doing. We will tell you what it needs and what it costs, before anyone picks up a tool.
